Semi-Intensive Level C Course Online

Program Description:

This course is designed for anyone hoping to maintain their level or review concepts in French or for those whose goal is to renew their level C.

The schedule consists of 10 weeks of two, 2.5 hour-sessions, as well as one 30-hour week of intensive training at the end of the session.

Here is some information about our semi-intensive part-time level B and C programs: 

• Both the Semi-Intensive Level B and Level C are 11-week programs offered online for anyone looking to obtain their respective level (level B or C certification in the French language). Both programs contain four steps (PFL-B steps 1-4 and PFL-C modules 1-4). Each step of the program takes 11 weeks to complete.  
• Each step of the Semi-Intensive Level B includes 10 weeks of part-time study (2.5 hours of study over 2 days a week) with the 11th week of the program being full-time study (intensive week; five 6-hour days). 
• Typical schedule: Every Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday from 9-11:30 am or from 12:30-3:00 pm.   
• Please note that before we begin, we will verify the location of all participants to confirm the time zone and find the training schedule that will work best.
• Schedule is confirmed the week before the program begins and we will be using everyone’s preferences / availabilities to have one that will suit all participants.    
• The final full-time week is 6 hours per day between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. AST. Time to be reconfirmed depending on the time zones of all participants.    
• This is a program that helps individuals improve their current skills in small groups, using a communicative - task-oriented approach to learning a second language. The Canada School of Public Service materials and components is mainly used in this type of government-oriented training.   
• CURRICULUM: The curriculum is custom designed using the language objectives of the Public Service. The course plan is defined according to the level of the group.
